Natural Sheepskin

Unlike synthetic pipe bags, genuine sheepskin is a natural material. Each hide therefore has its own individual characteristics, making every finished pipe bag slightly unique.

A properly maintained sheepskin bag provides an excellent combination of comfort, responsiveness and natural moisture control, which is why many pipers continue to favour traditional hide bags.

Care and Maintenance

As a natural hide product, a sheepskin pipe bag requires appropriate care and seasoning. Correct maintenance helps preserve the airtightness and condition of the leather and allows the bag to perform as intended over its working life.  We use and recommend Robertson Seasoning on all our skins (available to order via this website).
